January 11, 2010 LAHORE: Former captain Pakistan cricket team Inzimam-ul-Haq has said Pakistan cricket team is in dire and immediate need of professional coaching while former Test cricketer Ramiz Raja, denying coach’s involvement in victory or defeat of a team, has said, coaching has to do nothing with players’ performance as they themselves are wholly solely responsible for the consequences.This two former cricket legends stated talking to newsmen amid a wedding party here in Lahore on Sunday. Inzimam said Muhammad Yousuf should not be blamed for the loss of second Test against Australia because first three days played in Pakistan’s favour but unluckily last day game changed dramatically in Aussies side. “It is very sad that we lost the match at a time when we were very much close to victory but lost due to players bad show on last day so they are responsible for team’s defeat, Ramiz added. |
