LHC dismisses article 62,63 definition petition LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed petition requested to define articles 62 and 63 of constitution.

The petition was filed by Khalid Khawaja Advocate seeking definition of constitutional articles 62 and 63 and criteria of eligibility and ineligibility of parliament members should be evaluated and larger bench should be form for case hearing.

Chief Justice LHC Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif has dismissed the petition and said it is the job of Election Commission to decide eligibility of member not the court. The court also rejected the petition seeking halt of by-election on NA-55 till final verdict.
