Addressing the public gathering held here to observe the second anniversary of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, he said the fault of Benazir Bhutto was that she fought against a dictator and forced another despot to take off his uniform, adding Pakistan’s missile program was his mistake.
Zardari said, ‘To hand over the Command and Control powers to the parliament is my fault,’ adding the political actors do not fear Zardari; instead, they fear democracy.
He added, ‘We will fight the war of democracy at every front and we never talked about revenge.
He announced to make another sister of Benazir Bhutto the governor of Gilgit-Baltistan.
President Zardari said the terrorists and non-state actors want to enervate Pakistan, adding the institutions are debilitated to sap the country of its strength.
He warned against misconstruing his patience with his weakness.
